Mrs. Buckley

My name is Danette Buckley and I am the General Education Teacher. This is my first year at Solomon Elementary School. Prior to this, I taught at Pearl Ridge Elementary and American Renaissance Academy.

I am a mother of three children; Alyssa, Joshuah and Rachel who are also attending Solomon. My husband, Akean, is in the Army and we've been married for about 10 years. 
I am excited about teaching 5th grade this year and look forward to working with our students and parents.

Mrs. Thomson

My name is Kindra Thomson and I will be the Special Education teacher this year in our inclusion classroom. Like Danette, this will be my first year teaching at Solomon Elementary. I taught 6th grade last year on the mainland while my husband was finishing his college degree. Now that he is done, we moved back to his hometown of Waialua and couldn't be happier. I am very excited about teaching 5th grade. I enjoy seeing the growth and progress in each student from the beginning to end of the school year. I look forward to a great year!
